What problem are you trying to solve?

In 2022, with funding from the University of Edinburgh Creative Informatics (Resident Entrepreneur) programme I developed a data-driven pattern creator for use in the quilt making industry. The pattern creator embeds meaning in the design process by taking a user-defined location, date and time to generate a bespoke design. My latest project seeks to understand the commercial value of a modified design tool targeted to a range of creative industries.

What is your idea?

I will be utilising data-driven technology to redefine product personalisation, working in creative partnership with a limited number of companies to bring special moments to life through encoded design.
